Tower Plaza
Tower Plaza has 26 stories. There is an urban legend that after it was built, the city planners said never again. The next tallest building in Ann Arbor is Campus Inn, which is 14 floors. The buildings around Tower Plaza are much smaller than it. This is why it doesn't really fit.

Collegian Building
The Collegian Building is a five story office and retail space in the center of campus. Despite this, there is a lot of non-university functions going on here. It seems kind of out of place compared to everything next to it. I chose to use this photo because of the lines in the building. I also liked the contrast between the old bricks and the new lobby.

Nickels Arcade
Nickels Arcade is a familiar sight in Ann Arbor. Lined with little boutique shops, this is a great place to be when it's raining (it was when I took these photos). I noticed that there is a lot of natural light filling the main hall. The shops, however, are forced to use electric lighting. I really liked to use perspective in these photos.

First Congregational Church
Built in 1847, this church has been gracing the University campus almost as long as the University has been around to grace. Though it's still an active worship space, most students never go in. I enjoy the lines of the building and my mom has always loved the trees in the spring time. I especially like the symmetry of the building. It is nearly perfect.
Front and Center
Kelsey Museum of Archeology
This historical archeology building is a fixture on campus. I really like the turret. Its cone shape stands out from the rest of the straight line shapes around it. By using different photos, I was able to show how different the front and back of the building were. The tour entrance is much more modern the other side.
